Rose Long is an artist and architect.

She paints in collaboration with two partners - Water and Gravity.

The elements of chance and complex variability that these introduce allow her work to become an interplay of intention and the often unexpected result of the laws of physics.

Using this technique, she explores the character and emotion behind the façade of her subjects, be they human or otherwise.

The progression in her work is evolutionary, not radical. Each piece informs the next in technique and expression.
